Popcorn

Varieties

Butterfly popcorn is a small, rounded grain with a vibrant yellow color. Its size is compact, and its shape is slightly irregular, with a hard, thick hull that protects the starch inside.

When popped, the corn transforms into a light, voluminous white structure. The grain expands considerably, creating the well-known popcorn, which has a crunchy texture.

In addition, popcorn tends to be softer and less dense after popping, resulting in a texture very different from the hard hull of the original grain.

It also has a mild flavor, which can be enhanced with salt and seasonings. It can be enjoyed sweet or savory.
